Workshop
Culture Building
In this presentation, Jade will explore some of the common challenges experienced when trying to engage teenagers in reading for leisure. The presentation will cover a range of tried and tested strategies that can improve students' attitudes towards reading and help nurture a reading culture within your school, and how the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge can form part of this strategy. Jade's experience is in Secondary settings, but many of the strategies discussed will be applicable in a primary setting.
